Hey. So. I've been staying at the shop. You know. The one that's... um. My daughter's. Eventual-daughter's. I guess. I met her. She's... nice. Really. Nothing like me. That's good. If my blood has to go belong to someone else someday, I'm glad it hasn't seemed to have effected their ability to be... you know... normal. A regular person.

This is still really weird. Weirder than the shit I usually get caught up in, even.

	It's alright. This isn't my first time-defying bounce. I sort of seem to do it regularly and frequently, in fact. Relatively speaking. I didn't speak to her for very long. Yeah, I kind of figured... I mean... she is really... sort of amazingly efficient. Like... she just makes herself be in charge of any situation and just acts on it. It's kind of impressive, and I mean... I didn't even see her do that much, but I'm surprised she's only managing a hole-in-the-wall bookshop and not, you know, running for President by now or something.

I'm not staying around. Not that long. I know. I can't stay here, not forever. Don't ask me how, just... I know I won't. But um... hey, look, I hate kids mostly, and women, and I ain't too sure about how to deal with my brother and other family, but look... I'll make you a promise. I don't forget people, and I don't abandon them. Not ever. I can't promise I'll ever find my way back when I go, but I can promise that when I do, I'll look for here forever, for as long as it takes, I'll wait and I'll look for when I come back and be the person you know and need to be a father to those kids. Okay?
