I have been in this world for a year and a day. It hardly seems possible. At once it seems I've been here for some time, and it feels as if I've only just fallen in to this world.
Where once I longed for nothing but home, I no longer feel quite so...what is the word? Desperate, perhaps, or perhaps the word I seek is 'alone', for I am no longer alone, in this world, and I've Frankie to thank for that. And Meggie as well.
Unrelated, I've a strong craving for toast with honey butter. |
