Someone please explain to me what all this "purging" nonsense is about. I spent most of the day dealing with personnel issues. A few of my staff thought "purging the neighborhood" was an acceptable excuse for missing work.
I paid them each a home visit to...dissuade them of their infantile delusions of righteousness, and left them with the proper authorities. |

What the... I went out for ice cream, and it was delicious, and made me very sleepy, and now I'm in a room with weird lavender lights on the side and this terrible strumming buzzing noise, and I can't...
I can't... go somewhere else. or make anything... Like I'm broken?
I don't even know where I am. And this sound is horrible.
And I can hear voices, but I can't tell what they're saying, and... my phone battery is almost dead. I don't know if this will even send.

Okay, people, listen up.
Some of you know by now... we have a bit of a crisis here.
A group of violently racist religious fanatics known as the Purifiers have appeared, seemingly out of nowhere, striking against anyone who seems not baseline human. They are not gentle easy threats, and they are not nice people.
They come from the same world I do, and there, they targeted mutants, the foremost group of non-normal humans, It appears that here, they have targeted everyone abnormal. Be aware, they are a group to be taken seriously, and anyone encountering one of them should be extremely cautious.
Incidents have already happened. There have been rallies, riots, and some people are missing, others hurt. It is important that if you encounter them, if you have someone missing, you get together with others. Do not try to handle this alone. Do not think that they might not have a way of stopping you, no matter how powerful you are. I have been monitoring the boards and I think they have been planning this for some time. They are fanatics, but obviously, they are organized here.
Don't jump at shadows, and don't let them force you to live in fear, but, be careful, and watch your backs. |

I don't believe I've ever come across something like this, which is entirely novel in a bad way. In my time, I did not move in polite society. If I came up against racism (which is what this appears to be), it was very casual and not nearly so focused. I don't approve of this.
I'm pregnant, not dead. I'm not fool enough to go charging into the lair of these people at this point (strange, having to worry about someone else's well-being), but if there is something that can be done behind the scenes, I am going to do it.
I have a certain expertise that might be useful in obtaining information. And I've missed the con.

This is fun! They keep throwing themselves at me. Initially I was simply melting brains, but that grew boring. I've since ripped out spines, turned the air in their lungs to acid, and in one particularly amusing case, drove a man to cannibalism and made him eat his partner. I don't believe this will ever get boring. |

All of a sudden I'm starting to get a real good perspective on the hell my mama went through. Already had three of these hatemongers in my shop, leaving fliers for the customers, or just trying to in the last case, told 'em to get the hell out and take that bigoted medieval-thinking bullcrap with 'em.
Don't think it endeared me to 'em much, but they won't be getting in again, made sure of that easy enough. Seems this is going on all over, and looks like we got folk helping with the finding and the hiding, but anybody needs to get patched up, c'mon in and see me in London {tea shop address} Just lemmie know you're coming so I can open the door. |

This day has been a most productive one! I was simply finalizing the communications network on my killbots when to my great surprise I had visitors! I generally do not allow visitors to my lab because of.. germs... and simply jettison unwanted guests through a series of tubes that lead to a large cannon. The splash it makes is infinitely more satisfying than the hamster cannon, however after its installment the post office insists I come to their building to obtain my shipments of uranium. In any case, I did not jettison these visitors today, as they bypassed the trap door, burst through my upstairs windows and swarmed down the stairs, much like the SWAT team used to do back home before being exposed to the mind control ray.
My visitors were rather interested in my robotic experiments. Of course I am a gracious host and was happy to demonstrate for them how my killbots work. Unfortunately my guests did not stay for cookies, and made quite a mess of the lab upon their exit.
I will have to design a scrubbing robot to get rid of all this splattered blood. |

So Stan and I were talking, and we don't have any powers or anything but we want to help those of you who are in trouble. We don't want to get shot by douchebags, so we're going to put up posters with slogans about how bigots are evil, "People with powers are still PEOPLE!", stuff like that. Here are my questions to the community:
1.) Is there anyone else who wants to join us on our guerilla poster campaign? I know there's a lot of people here without powers who feel well... powerless, on the sidelines watching as their friends are getting attacked. This might be your way to help out.
2.) To those who have loved ones gone missing- would anyone be willing to volunteer pictures of missing persons? We were thinking of putting pictures of kidnapped people with a number to call if anyone has any information. Maybe someone out there saw something.
We're also volunteering our services to help hide anyone in trouble. I know this isn't much, but we're offering all we got. |
