You know, the past several weeks have been funny for me. Why, you ask? Because for some reason I started receiving phone calls asking for comment about a "Plaxico" situation. I didn't really know what a Plaxico was, or why I should care, but I felt that this wasn't the answer the reporters were looking for. I stonewalled them as a matter of general principle, and then I decided to do a little research.
Reporters of the world, if any of you are reading get a blank document and your copy/paste finger ready, would you like the guy that gets paid millions of dollars to sit on the bench to comment now? Here it is: I am reasonably sure he's an idiot. How do I know this? Well, the self-inflicted gunshot wound to the thigh was certainly not the indicator of a healthy intellect. Is it that hard to flip the safety on? Or maybe, and this is just a thought now, if you think you're going to need a gun to go out on a certain night, stay in and rent a movie on cable or something!
You can quote me on this one. I'm somehow not very worried about a lawsuit. |
