So, V gave Hecate her baby.
Maggie is a healthy, beautiful baby girl, ten fingers and toes (so twenty total), and doesn't seem to mind being cared for by the goddess instead of her mother.
I, for my part, have never smoked so many cigarettes. And now V's gone.
And Vance is back.
Life here is kind of fucked up.

If the gentleman next to me doesn't stop nervously telling me every horror story about September 11th he's ever heard, I'm going to throw him out of the plane.
When you're embarking on a life altering mission of service in a far away country, freaking out about the plane ride there seems kind of ridiculous.
I hope I do well. Two years didn't seem so long, yesterday. |

Okay so I finally did it!
I quit the job, sold everything and am now hiding from the people I 'worked' for.
Why do I feel like I made a mistake?
Anyone want to hide me? Or at least make sure my sister is okay? |

Seems to me like things have been pretty slow around here lately. It's a good kind of slow though, a turning-of-the-seasons, everybody's-too-tired-to-cause-trouble kind of slow.
Of course, also seems like people've been pretty secretive lately too, but that ain't my business and ain't never been my business.
Anyway, things've been slow, and I'm starting to feel out of practice, so if anybody's still out and about this time of night, stop by [tea shop address], I'll read your palm, read your leaves, whichever, might even cast the runes, throw a card reading down, depends on what you want, what I think you might need. Just the way the business works. |
