So, lots of comings, lots of goings. Figured I'd reintroduce myself and my shop. I'm Atton Rand, smuggler, daring scamp, scoundrel with charm to spare, Jedi, and proprietor of an antiques shop here in London. It doesn't really have a name, unless you count the sign that says "antiques" out front, in which case I own the most boring antiques store in London.
Anyway.
Come on by if you need furniture or anything fussy like that. We've got it. Come on by if you want to shoot the shit for a while too, I probably need a break from old ladies asking me about authenticity. Guy can only forge so many provenences a day. |

So, there's soon to be a gala at a nice little museum in Key West, Florida, where a very dear friend of mine works, this gala is to celebrate the opening of an interactive exhibit that follows along with our recent quest to find Shipwreck Island, they've even rebuilt one of the ship's decks inside!
It's taken quite a bit of planning, and our dear Anne is proud of it, she says that even though the quest wasn't much of a success, this alone makes it worth the trip. It's been rather a while since I've had reason to attend such a to-do as a museum opening, and though Anne and Bill both assure me that things will go fine, I can't shake the old paranoia.
Ah well, I'll make the most of it I suppose, always do. |

The boys I work with had a great idea, they figured that since I liked my road trip so much, and liked the map, that I should do a bigger one across the lobby of the shop. So, I did.
The new, improved map is at the shop: [address on the outskirts of London proper]
If you've already come to the house to see it, come see it again! It's got more detail in it this time, journal pages and stuff, if you haven't seen it yet, no better time than the present! It's worth the trip, so I've been told, and if you need an engine looked at or whatever, we can do that in the meantime, we can fix anything. |

I have decided that I like evening best, I don't mind the dark, not hardly, it's home as much as anything, and I don't mind the light either, though I do find it quite garish and unflattering, evening though, evening's lovely.
Especially when the sun hasn't yet gone down completely and most things seem to glow, it really is lovely, and it's my favorite time to go walking.
Would anyone care to join me? I promise not to bite. |
