Chaps, I'm so sorry about the girl's and Eddie's little chat about the word 'fag' and if it ruined anything, I really am! I was dealing with the who hoopla, as it were, and then saw that Eddie had posted, as I had tried to explain it I was whisked away by my guards and-and-Oh, I've no excuse! I apologize, I'm a rubbish father and I've no idea what I'm doing, what! He shows up and needs me to help and I'm not near as bright as him, even, and I want to be a father, chaps but I don't know what to do, what! I can barely take care of myself, and now with Eddie I'm already making mistakes, and he's not been here all that long, and he's posting about fags and means words and sins that I'm committing and I just think I'm a daft old blighter who will never be good at this and I'm so, so sorry he told your girls about 'fag' before you wanted them to know, chaps, I really am!

I'm rubbish at this. Awful. I wasn't meant to be a father and I don't know what to do, chap! All I'm good for is ruddy bed time stories and roaring renditions of 'Oh by Jingo'. I'm useless, James, I really am.

Eddie, love, would you care to go to the zoo this weekend, perhaps? You could meet Popper, if you fancy, my tiger!

It's quite all right, George. Certainly, I wish it hadn't happened. But it did, and we can all deal with it. Fatherhood is an ongoing process, there are no handbooks, no real rules to go by. We're all bound to make mistakes as we go.

I'll admit, I'm a bit upset by the whole thing, because the girls got upset and they aren't quite old enough to really understand a lot of things. But I've talked to them, and they're all right.

Oh, I'm so sorry, Ray chap, I really am! I never wanted to have you upset, or the girls upset, and I should have tried harder to explain to Eddie, and there is just no excuse! I've been making mistakes left and right, it seems, and I don't want anyone else going down with the ship, as it were!

I'm so glad the girls are alright, though! And once again, I am so, so sorry!

It's really all right, George. We should find the time for the girls and Eddie to meet face to face.

It's just, I thought I'd be good at this, what! And I'm rather wrong.

I would love for them to get a chance to meet, though! I was planning on taking Eddie to the zoo this weekend, to see the animals as well as meet my tiger, Popper. Perhaps the girls would like to come with? James will be there, to be sure, to make sure I don't cock things up like I have been!

The zoo sounds like fun. I'll see if I can work it out. Obviously I can't bring them, or I'd be spending the day in the loo, rather than at the zoo.

Oh, of course, of course! It is a right sin that you can't handle the old portkey travel, chap! But yes, I could always have James nip over to pick them up, or I could, or what have you!

It's a bit unfair. Especially since the girls love it. They think it's a grand adventure.

I'll check with their mother, see if Orlinda might want to go, and let you know.

Oh yes, well, I would imagine they would! It's a bit exciting to me, chap, to tell the truth! All the zooming and zipping about without even a thought!

Oh, that would be just ripping, old chap! I would like to meet her!

I'm sorry that it had to come so soon, though, chap! I do apologize for any grief it caused on your part, or Ray's part or the girl's part, what!

It's fine. Better we know about it, than have it come up while they're at school or something like that.

Just forget it, George.

Alright, House, chap, but I am still very sorry. But, as you said, it is good you've got it out of the way, I suppose! Much better than having them stumble about it on their father's house, I tell you that!

You don't have to be sorry. It was some asshole's fault, not yours.

Watch out for yourself, and fire whoever was on watch- how the hell did they get close enough to your mansion to tag it, anyway?

Well, right, but I shouldn't have let Eddie see it, at least!

Well, I've already been shot, so I'm was a bit on edge, as it were, but I thought it might have been over with. Guess not. And I couldn't fire them, they said they didn't see a thing, chap! And I would hate to fire someone for making a mistake as simple as looking the wrong way, what!

There's nothing you can do about that. He saw it, and now he has to decide what he thinks about it.

You'd probably also hate to die because someone was looking the wrong way, though, right?

Well, he thinks people are rather mean, is the thing, and that's it! I mean, he's surprisingly accpeting of who I am now, but it's a sin that he has so many people thinking so poorly of his father.

Yes, but I don't think anyone would allow that to happen. I don't think. I mean, writing on the house is hardly murder, is it? Do you think I should worry, chap?

What he thinks is all that matters. Fuck the rest of 'em. He's your family, not them.

If they can get close enough to your house to write on it, they can get to you if they want. I'd worry, if I were you.

I know, chap, I know. But I just wish he didn't fall into such a minority, it seems, in thinking his father a great man. You know, when I imagined being a father, I always thought I would make my son proud of me, as my father did, but I'm bally well bollocksing that up by being the...The poof prince of Wales!

Oh. Well. Gosh, I never thought of it that way, what! Blimey. Well, thank you, House, for pointing that out!

I'm sure he's proud of you, George. And it's not your fault you got shoved into being the prince. People are just ignorant asses. You a- and James are good men. If they can't see that, they're obviously idiots.

You have plenty of people to watch out for you. Just make sure they keep doing their job.

Thank you, House, and I really mean that! You are just so kind to say all that, you really are! I...I am a nice person, I think, and you are right-if people can't see that...They are idiots. Right.

Of course, I will, what! I mean, now that I have Eddie as well as James to worry about, I bally well will!

Oh stop it. Eddie adores you, and every parent goes through these sort of things. Sometimes you can't avoid it and just have to make the best of it and go with the flow.

I love you and together we'll do a fine job of raising Eddie.

Now James, I know you love me and are rather required to say that, but I'm no good! It's just awful how I am such a poor role model for this young chappy while my father was such a good man, a great man!

James, I'm frightened he will be ashamed of me.

I'm not sure.

Why does it matter if other people think poorly of you? You aren't the world's dad, you are his and a little boy...will always love his father no matter what other people think.

Well I am.
