You have! Alas, I do not understand magic very well, nor am I able to judge its relative strengths and uses. In my world, such things are considered sinful, and so my wife and her people who are now mine are frequently hanged as heretics when the officers of local and Church law become bored; but though the gypsies can do many tricks equal to yours, they are exactly that -- tricks. I can even reproduce a number of them, which you would swear was real magic if you saw it.
