He and I have been...working together for some time now. He suffered a psychotic break and nearly killed me. Turning me was his way of apologising. I asked for it, he did no such thing against my will.

It would be best, darling, if you stay away from him, for now. He is...unstable on his best days, as you know.

Ilya is...he's a good man, Kezia. A bit reckless, but what man isn't? He grew up, he can hold his own with his father. It took a while, but we figured it out. And your sudden appearance here might screw everything for me, that I've worked so hard for.

I'd like to come and see you.
