HAVE YOU BEEN WAITING TO SEE ME AROUND?

Wait no longer! Boys and girls, I'm tired of laying low. It's boring. The food there sucks, let me tell you, nobody can cook. It's mostly runny fried eggs and cantaloupes.

No no no. I need a full meal! So I'm back, and ready for some fun.

Fun. It's today's secret word. If I hear you saying it, maybe I'll run you down on a motorcycle, or feed you to the fishes wearing a fedora, or make your small intestine into delicious jam, or give you only the very best spot on the shelf to put your head after I take it off with a chainsaw. It's all equal these days, all very even. The economy may be in trouble, folks, but I've got no lack of...funding.

So! Who wants some fun?

Runny fried eggs and cantaloupe? Why would you go and fry a cantaloupe? That's a silly thing to do to a perfectly good melon.

That's what I said. Nobody listens to common sense. I mean, frying tangerines? Different story. Frying that bee girl from the Blind Melon video? Something else entirely.

Common sense is sadly very uncommon. I can't imagine fried tangerines would be very tidy a snack, unless you fry them with the peels on, that might work.

oh! I'm Arkady, just so I don't forget to tell you later.

But the best things in life aren't tidy! They're disgusting and greasy and juicy and get all over everything.

And I'm The Joker. What kind of a name is Arkady?

It's my name, what kind of name is Joker? That's a title.

You're right about that, and sometimes you just have to get together with the rest of the dozen and punch a hole in the world to let the water in to start everything over.

True. But titles are better than names, don't you think?

AND THEN WHEN IT STARTS ALL OVER YOU CAN BREAK IT AGAIN.

[info]justalilmental
2009-04-17 06:27 pm UTC (link)
We're hoping that we don't have to break it again this time, but we're never sure, and I don't know why me and KK are here now, instead of there, sometimes I think maybe we're supposed to stop ourselves, but then I remember that it had to be done.

Titles have their place, and names have their time, and one's the same as the other after a while.

...

You remind me of this guy I used to know who worked at the taco place I like. Didn't speak a lick of english.

Mmm tacos, I haven't had tacos since before all the water. I should find a place that has them, KK found a place that's got real Chinese takeaway, there should be a place that has tacos.

The kind that are all held together with grease and lumps of molten cheese and have the bits of meat that won't even go into sausages.

Now that--that is a greasy juicy disgusting thing I can get behind.

Are you in Whitechapel? We could go together and find a place that has them, it's an adventure!

Never been there. Isn't that where that Ripper guy is from? I should visit, see the sights, eat the disgusting tacos, practice my ripping technique. It's like golf, you know, takes practice.

So it's a bit like teleporting, just kind of messier.
He was, yes, there's a museum and everything, I've seen it.

UNLESS YOU'RE THAT GUY IN THE FLY. Then teleporting's real messy.

I don't really like museums. It's just things, you know, in glass cases. Boring.

But I could stage a re-enactment! That'd REALLY bring history to life, huh?

[info]justalilmental

Well you could, but there aren't any whores in Whitechapel anymore so it wouldn't be a very good historical reenactment.

Well that's what he gets for trying to do it with science instead of just the normal way.

Oooh! Oooh! ME! ME! Pick me!

Fun is my middle name. Actually, it's Winston, but if I could go back in time and change my middle name, it might be fun. Though that doesn't sound as good. Wade Fun Wilson? Nah, doesn't have a ring to it. Maybe if we use Ezekiel instead...

Know what a fun word is? Spatula. Think about it. Spatula. Or Apocalypse. Apoc-Key-Lips. That might be my new favorite word.

I like duct tape too. I love how it tapes. I love the sound it makes. [Eat your heart out, Dr. Suess] I love saying it. Duct tape, duct tape, duct tape, duct tape, duct tape, duct tape, duct tape.

Here's my feelings on it--Winston is more fun than Fun, but only between Wade and Wilson. Ezekial is much less fun. Spatula is entertaining--not fun.

Duct tape is useful and fun. Making it the winner of this bout, everybody cheer!

How fast does torture run?

You made him leave, didn't you.

[info]dogchasingcars
2009-04-17 05:35 pm UTC (link)
Fast. And it's slippery, like one of those greased pigs, so you really have to work to catch it.

Aw, come on now. I don't even know who you mean.

But I can guess.

[info]toitshour

Apparently it works to catch me, not the other way around.

Did you or didn't you?

And there are those times when it catches up to you and not vice versa, that's true.

Now that would be telling.

Actually, I've got a P.H.D in torture. I'm Dr. Joker M.D, and don't you forget it!

You know me so well. :D So what happened to him? Did he get a knife in the ribs or just fall off the face of the earth?

(Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

[info]toitshour
2009-04-17 05:47 pm UTC (link)
You wouldn't torture me. You know what I'd do to you. Or try to. I think that's why they did what they did to me.

That second one.

You keep on believing whatever helps you hold things together, darling. But haven't you considered that he might not have been the prince charming you thought he was?

Perhaps I will not leave this universe so soon if someone like you are here!

I approve of your...the human word is "style" I believe. Should any of your...hijinx require aid, my followers will be at your disposal.

Anything I can do to keep people coming back. Step right up!

Oooh, why thank you. I'll keep it in mind--may just take you up on that. I had some flunkies but they went and got themselves killed or weren't fast enough at 'catch' when we played with grenades, so I need some new ones.

When I do discover my own universe, I will have to create a version of you for entertainment!

Feel free to use some of my followers for that, as well. I can always resurrect them with interesting physical mutations.

There would only be one of you here. The other would be in the universe I claim for my own.

Should you wish it, I can send some to you now. Mutations and all.

Then by all means! Spread me around as much as you like.

I will! Perhaps a planet full of-no. That would be too bizarre.

Fantastic! I will materialize them near where you are. I will also allow you to shape the mutations. I think the results will be more amusing that way, don't you?

Now THAT--THAT would be a reality show worth watching. HA.

Oh yeah. Much funnier. It'll give the jokes fuller effect, you know.
