Leonard. It occurs to me that Penny's absence may be causing you some discomfort. Since your relationship didn't progress to a physical stage--that I'm aware of--I assume it wouldn't be correct to term it 'sexual frustration'.

Perhaps it would benefit you to find someone to approximate the role in your life that Penny filled. Whatever you would call that.

Well, not replace, no. I'm not suggesting some leap forward in human cloning or robotics. Just approximate the social role that she filled.

Employment at the Cheesecake Factory had an impact on the social role she filled in your life? But you're lactose intolerant! Could that be symbolic of your self-destructive need to strive for the unattainable? Does it have to be cheesecake, or will any dairy product do? Maybe we could find a nice milk maid.

I'm just talking about an approximation of Penny. This is ridiculous, Sheldon. I don't want an approximation of Penny or a replacement for the social role that Penny filled.
