It seems that not only have the Inspector and I suffered this odd universal displacement, it just so happens that we've been advanced forward approximately twelve years from our current time.

I don't suppose that anybody here could assist me with filling in the pertinent historical gaps in those twelve years that we appear to be missing? It would be greatly appreciated.

Has nobody attempted to reconcile these factions' differences? It seems as though conflict on that scale would cause a great deal of unnecessary casualties.
