I really want to just hold you right now, but it seems like you need some time alone, so I'm doing my best to not go looking for you. Take whatever time you need. We'll take care of things here. Though it doesn't mean I'm not gonna try to contact you every little while.

If you do want to try and talk it out, I'm here. You know I'm not going to run around gossiping. But I meant it- I don't need to know anything past the two of you being upset. And since I have no idea how to try and help bossman either, you get the full benefit of my awkward attempts at cheer. Just don't ask me to sing, I promise, it's not a good idea.
