I have experienced upgrades and patches to my matrix that required the occasional restart of my systems, a large number of those in my earliest processing days. I have not yet experienced what you might term a 'cold reboot', requiring a restoration from a secure backup. I expect that the loss of data that would inevitably happen in such a circumstance would be extremely disconcerting.

Logic and science tells me that it is impossible for an artificial intelligence to become flesh and blood, or even to experience feelings. I am uncertain how to process this in terms I can fully understand. However, the evidence exists before me, and therefore, I must accept it as truth.

What I think does not factor into the equation, but I do possess the innate desire to see that those I work with and for are content. If these circumstances permit that, then I also am content. I do not believe that I would consider such circumstances for myself, however, given my lack of understanding.
