Oh no. Wizards again? I don't recognize this place at all.. Has anyone seen a large, usually mild-tempered but probably currently somewhat grumpy dragon? Or if anyone could point me back to the Mountains of Morning, please? I was in the middle of cooking dinner.

I hope this wasn't someone's idea of a rescue.

Knights, hm? How about this?

It was, for lack of a better term, magic. You've been transported to a whole other world, with a different society than you are used to. Like suddenly being moved to another realm without traveling or preparing.

All right.. I think I follow. But I have a feeling that there's a lot about this world I'm going to have to learn.

So.. Kazul isn't here? Is there even a King of the Dragons here at all?

I'm sorry, I've forgotten my manners. I'm Princess Cimorene of the Kingdom of Linderwall, currently princess of the dragon Kazul... Or her Head Cook and Librarian. We haven't quite worked out the title yet. And I appreciate the thought, but I'd rather you not be at my service if it's all the same.

I am afraid I know of no Dragons here, but that does not mean they do not exist. It's a very strange world. Somewhere on your person, there should be a form of identification, either papers, or a small card with your picture on it, with your name, and an address, which is where you live, here. When we come to this world, we replace someone, and thus, we have a life we can slip into. Or, if that life does not suit you, my family helps people find new ones.

A pleasure to meet you, Princess. I do not know, I am afraid, the proper way to address you.

And that is quite fine. I get the feeling it means a little different to you and me, anyway.

Thank you. It's just that knights are always saying that they're at my service, when really they don't have any intention in doing what I'd like, which is leaving me alone.

Help is good. I could probably use some help finding out where I'm supposed to be.

Ah... I am from a rather different custom. Here, it is an offer of assistance, and aid.

Would you like to talk here, or in person? I can have my sister's clerk triangulate and find you through this device, if you like, and help either direct you, or come and assist there. We have all been through this, and it helps to have someone who knows the weirdness, so to speak.

Oh. England. That sounds familiar. That's where all the Jacks come from, isn't it? Kazul has a giant friend that is always having problems with them.

Sorry if I came off as rude, Julian. I can call you Julian? It's become a reflex, unfortunately. I've tried being polite with the knights, but it doesn't work as well.

I'm not sure what all that means, but if you can find me and help me figure out this world, I would appreciate it.
