So I've decided I want to go dancing. I don't know if the clubs are the same here, and I need to make my presence known.

Trouble is this dance card I have is completely empty. This is a terrible thing. A truly terrible thing, that must be remedied.

I can promise all potential volunteers this: You will not have to pay for a thing tonight. Not cover charge, certainly not drinks, not cab money or bus money or a subway ticket or anything.

Nothing is required in return for this except a night of dancing. I'm not that kind of douchebag.

So, any takers?

Y'see this here? This is how it is done. This is class. I am a classy guy. I'll understand if you want to take a second to take notes.

That really is a shame, sugar. Cute thing like you, and no lady on your arm. If you still need a volunteer, I'd be happy to.

That would be fantastic. I've got a club all picked out, here in Hollywood. Dress is upscale, but not so fancy you can't move. [address] Food, drinks, all that have already been taken care of, just come prepared for a night of good dancing.

Awesome! And I promise you that there won't be anything going on that would worry your husband. Hell, bring him too, if he's up for it.

Dress is upscale, but not fancy enough that you can't move. Drinks and food have been taken care of already. The club is [address], right near the Hollywood portkey.

Duly noted! I'll have to see if he's up for dancing.

This looks like it's going to be fun!

Why are all of your crazy dating schemes working here?

It's like time and space seem to bend to throw women at you.

I don't see a reason you couldn't get in on the party.

Heh. I would say that three's a crowd, but that's just the number of women who signed up fro this.

I don't think this is my kind of party. I can't dance. Maybe something a little quieter, later.

Aw, for my part, I promise I don't bite unless asked. But I can respect that, sugar. I hope you find yourself a quieter fun.

Catia Silva.

You ever decide you could use a bit of noise, look me up, yeah?

I don't mind noise. I just prefer to give one person my attention, instead of three.

Maybe we could do something suitably loud some other night?

How about Friday? That way we can get a good dinner, and go out dancing or whatever, without having to worry about work the next day.

Perhaps it is just that I am The Man, have you ever considered that?

Alternatively this good luck is all going to turn around somehow. See why I prefer the other option?

Also, I see time and space have not forsaken you, either. To quote Wayne Campbell, "Good work, my friend."

Ahhh, I'm sure you're not as bad as you think. People are always their own worst critics.

Here's the [address], it's a nice club up in Hollywood. The dress is upscale, but make sure you can move, because we will be dancing the night away! Food, drink, everything you can think of has already been taken care of.

You just say that because you've never seen me trying to navigate stairs. Think Dean said something about looking like a startled colt.

Whatever, still sounds like fun, and I don't get to dress up anywhere near often enough. I'll see you there.

Huh. Well, I should be able to recognize that if I see it, I've seen a startled colt. I'll be sure to help if I see that happening, don't worry. What kind of gentleman would I be if I didn't?

Awesome!

Exactly! I have always said this.

Well. For the last few seconds, I have always said this.

[address] is where it's at, a nice club in Hollywood. That may be an oxymoron, but I told them to keep the football players/rappers/psychopaths with guns out of the place for tonight, at least. The dress is upscale, but not terribly fancy, like not French five star restaurant fancy. Just some good clothes, basically. All the food and drink you could possibly want has been taken care of, so just come prepared for a night of some very fun dancing.

Nice clubs, dive bars, random empty fields of flowers... dancing is good wherever. And I have always said that, and that's been a long time. Not even psychopaths can mess that up. I look forward to it.

You look, and this is just my opinion now, to be in your early twenties. Mid-twenties, at a stretch.

Which is why I figure you're older than that, if you're actually able to remember the sixties.

Oh, well that's sweet!

I am a bit older. I remember the 1960's, the 1860s, the 1760s.. the actual 60s...

That's not a problem, is it?
