And what is this place?

Well this is going to be interesting...

Hello, sister. Welcome to the year of our Lord 2008. You are... in the future of an alternate world. I am Henry Fitzroy, Duke of Richmond and Somerset.

Sister? Lord Fitzroy? That's..

God's blood, I suppose I very well can't say that it's 'impossible', now could I. Unless the fever truly has addled my brain.

It has not. My father is King Henry VIII. Same as you. Though I was born before you, even before Father was married to your mother.

That I don't doubt, your Grace, but I've heard that you've been deceased for sometime. Unless you still are and it is I who've succumbed.

It is good to hear someone who doesn't doubt my father's identity.

I am... a unique case, but you have not succumbed.

There is a story behind that word 'unique'.

But I'm not in the mind to hear it right now.

Well, if I have not then it is still a miracle. I overheard the doctors telling my ladies I had caught smallpox, and yet I do not have a single pockmark on my person.

Indeed there is.

If you had smallpox, you would not upon your arrival. It is... like a second chance.

If this isn't a sign that God is good...I'll eat my petticoats.

If I could find them...these aren't garments I remember having, and I've been wearing breeches all this time and no one seems to care.

All quite amusing really.

dear mistress, I am Queen Elizabeth of England.

You'll have to forgive me, but I don't know your name.

My name is Jane Seymour. Mother of King Edward and once wife to King Henry VIII.

Mistress Seymour?

Have I passed on then? First come Henry Fitzroy then you?

...Is Edward here as well?

You have not. No, Edward isn't here. Your father and mother, however, are. As is Anne of Cleves, Charles Brandon and Anthony Knivert.

God....

This is a lot to take in. The least of which is discovering that I've gone into the future and that my family is here.

It's not for a queen to show emotion, but..Edward was a good lad. I always enjoyed the Holidays when we were allowed to spend time together.

Wishing does no one any good, madam.

If it were so, I would wish that my late sister were not overtaken by fear and religion as she had been. I would wish to not have spent the past twenty years fearing assasination.

The past cannot be changed, and it is a waste of energy wishing otherwise

So glad you're not one of the wives.

Welcome, daughter. I have heard many, many good things about you.

In the flesh. Though less of it than you're likely to have expected, according to my history.

Well, also according to history, you've done me proud indeed.

So you're still the young prince on the outside as you were in?

Thank you

That is perhaps the best, most generous way I have ever heard my historical later years put, well done.

Now, I understand how disorienting it can be, traveling to this world. [this site] will not help with the disorient, but will provide information.

As flattering as it is, it is also true. It is how I remember you, from the rare times I was allowed in court.

...gods blood..Well, it is disorienting.

I have found the document this 'site' speaks of.

I am no longer 'Elizabeth Tudor' but..a Mss. Elizabeth Jackson..and a professor of Liturature at the University of Oxford...?

Very well, then, I still thank you.

Yes, that was my reaction as well.

Congratulations, that is quite a prestigious placement.

I recognize you from your image in books I've been reading. So you are Anne Boleyn's daughter?

I am the daughter of his majesty Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn.

And you, sir? Your face is familiar, but I cannot place it.

Charles Brandon, friend and brother-in-law to your father, and Duke of Suffolk. Here, though, I am a member of a band known as Whitehall -- the drummer, in fact -- while Harry plays music and sings, as he so often loved to do. Anthony Knivert is here as well and also a member of the band. We are quite good, I must admit.

I am also involved with the Lady Jane Seymour. I tell you all this only because to most, it would seem unusual and it's better if you learn it all now.

Suffolk?...well that would explain why you appeared familiar.

From everything I've heard thus far, this comes as the least surprising.
At this moment, I believe the other young lady in the room is listening to your 'band' through some device connected to her ears. It reads so next to her other possessions.

I'm hardly one to give criticism over who's involved with who, considering that there's something wrong with nearly all my suitors-be it political or personal.
