My goodness, Christmas is quite an event here, isn't it?

I hope everyone liked the flowers I got for them. I was quite at a loss!

Does anyone have any helpful hints to walk in high heels?

Start with a smaller heel, and practice. Practice walking, practice stairs, and for the love of me, practice turning. If you're going to be dancing, practice side to side movements. When you're walking, remember to keep your legs straight and as close together as possible. With each step, point your feet as straight in front of you as you can. Start slow, and you'll gain confidence as you practice.

If you're going to walk on stairs, use a rail if there is one, and don't give in to the the urge to only walk on your toes.

Practice, practice, practice.

Did I mention practice?

	One should be able to count on one's siblings, at the very least. No, I like it. If the water is as warm as you say, I won't mind one bit. Though I'm very pale. Not like the ladies in the magazines, anyway. They always seem to be very tan. I have skin like milk...at least that's what people used to tell me. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Yes. They should. Good. I don't want you to be uncomfortable. And I like pale skin. It's healthier, for one thing. Tans are bad for the skin in the long run. And it's nice to see someone who's happy with their natural skin pigment. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
