Soon to coax out a lover's song

Where revered as gods, we once lived on

Tears streaming down such pale cheeks
Enduring, years, months, days, and weeks
Never considering yourself wise

Don't see this as the book's ending
See it as my heart and soul mending
And the passage through a line
