I am most well. It looks like I shall be leaving here soon. Though the hospital has left the door open to come back.

I should be "home" by Christmas. I hope you will come to visit.

Oh, I do! A friend of mine says that is what his gift will be upon my leaving the hospital.

Dogs are lovely to have around, especially when one is lonely. I remember the castle dogs coming over to me to lie their heads on my lap when I would be sad.

Father would scold me for letting them get their fur on my clothing. But I did not care.
