I'm doing all right. Confined to resting for awhile, but I'm healing well thanks to the doctors and, I hear, Midalah. So thank you.

Everyone can stop fussing over me. I mean it. Or I'm going to have to teach Jamie some smuggling tricks so he can get me out of here.

This world makes us all do crazy things sometimes we wouldn't normally do. Some people sing, some people don't act like themselves. I know the Rose right now wouldn't do something like that if she could help it.

Make it up to me? What do you mean? You could come see me and see for yourself that I'm fine.

Several reasons, I guess. I'm still too exhausted to process everything. But if I am mad, or do get mad, it won't be at you.

You don't have to bring anything. Just come by when you're ready.

Even if it would be easier for you, I still wouldn't get mad at you. When I realized what was going to happen, I made a choice to not see her as you, because she wasn't you. I might get angry at that darker, future version of you, but she's not here anymore, so you have nothing to worry about.
