I was segueing, but if you insist. Who says they're right for each other? Adam's opinion, as in all things, can be safely discounted. Eve's feelings are largely out of comfort and duty rather than any genuine affection. God isn't here to say much, but She thought that you and Adam were a good match, so She's clearly not a good judge. So clearly you believe that they're the ideal match, in which case you shouldn't mind if your friend ends up in Adam's arms. Or bed.
