Humiliated you in front of whom? Your sister is no longer here. No one thinks poorly of you because of anything I have done.

As I said, I had no intention of hurting you, Inspira. Given the rarity that you even visited my realm, let alone staying in the wing I had granted you... I would have thought you to be relieved at having the unwanted title of Queen of the Dreaming removed.

Do not make assumptions about me, Morpheus. I am different than you, different from your past lovers. I told you how it was from the beginning. I made certain you were under no falsities about me or who I was. I said that it was not a good idea, but you insisted.

I do not show affection as you do, but that does not mean I have no heart, or that I am flawed for I am exactly what my lovers need me to be.

You never did use enough words, Morpheus and that's a shame for this could have all been avoided or at least gone more smoothly. Do you know that when my part of the Dreaming was torn down I felt it? That it was a searing pain...Anyway, I guess we both believed things in each other that weren't true. I believed you to be a better being than this and I hope you feel terribly uninspired.

I am aware of your differences. You should examine your claims to be an expert with words, Inspira. Your accusations of a lack of communication flows both ways. Do remember your cutting distance when you were informed of my long-past relationship with Calliope, with no declaration of closure, nor a statement of reconciliation. I no longer have a desire to spend my time guessing at your whims.

And if you believe that you have power over my inspiration or lack thereof, you are a self-important fool.

You never fully understood why certain things were big deals to me and others were not. That much was clear. But I did come back after I cooled down. I accepted every invitation, replied to every call, and even came when you begged me to do my work from your realm rather from among the people as I desired.

You are right. I am a fool. A fool for letting you desecrate my body so, sneak into my heart, and cloud my judgment. I know now why my lovers write what they write on love and hurt. And I do not like it.
