Hey, Libby? Ana? I know you guys probably noticed the whole... me having a boyfriend thing. I wanted him to meet Jade, and you two as well. So I was thinking, we could all do a dinner or something at my place, or we could go out someplace else.

Jade isn't just a part of your life, she's your daughter. Do you think it's really a good idea to rush this? I know that you want her to meet him, but.. I don't know. I just have a weird 'mom'-feeling about it. I appreciate that you've asked Ana and me to join you. I just. I don't know. I feel like you should ease her in more slowly. Maybe you should sit down with her first and just talk to her about it.

She wants to meet him. I want to meet him. But I just.. I don't feel like this is the best approach. I think she's feeling really overwhelmed right now.

You're right. I'm sorry. This whole thing was...it's going fast for me. I was waiting to tell Jade about it, and, well, she found out, and I really didn't want her to find out like that and she told me she wanted to meet him when I was ready. I just mentioned it to Henry, that at some point I wanted them to meet. I didn't know he was gonna push it sooner. I made this post cause I didn't want to make hime do it, have you guys think I was a coward and couldn't ask, but I guess I just look like more of one, cause I know I should have just said no to him. I'm so bad at saying no. I'm suppose to be a responicible adult, a parent, and I just. I'm trying. It was so easy when Kai was here, I just let him be the responcible one. I'm sorry.

Fuck that sounds like a damn pity plea. I'll tell Henry to just wait. I. I'll try to talk to Jade, too.

It's okay. You don't have to apologize. I want Jade to be a part of your life, and I want to be, too. It's hard for me to remember sometimes that you're not him, and I think it's hard for Ana, too. But this is something Jade wants, she just needs time.

Yeah, I think it would be best if we just waited a little bit. Just a few weeks. You can just tell Henry that you're working around our schedule, if you want.

I know you're excited. That's a good thing. I'm happy for you. And Henry's young. I'm sure he's excited too, and he probably doesn't understand how complicated parenting can be. I'm just trying to look out for Jade. I don't want to offend or upset either of you.

Alright, so. It's none of my business what you do with your personal life. I don't care who you're with, honest. But when Jade gets involved, I at least get to say something. So I'm doing that.

We didn't hear about this guy until a few days ago. Which is fine. But how long have you known him? I'm hoping it's been more than a a few days. Because you shouldn't be introducing your new... dude to Jade if you barely know him yourself.

Jade can handle this fine, she just shouldn't have to be put into weird, uncomfortable positions if you're not even sure who this guy is. If you've been with him a while, my bad. We just haven't had any idea about this and I don't think Jade has known about this dude until recently, either. But either way, she should have some time just getting used to the fact that he's around before having to interact with him.

Also, you should have come to us first. He should have come to us first. Maybe I don't want her in the middle of this. Maybe I don't want her getting attached to some guy if you're going to eventually drop him for whatever reason.

She's still dealing with losing Hakkai. She doesn't say this, but she feels it and I think this new dude just puts her in an uncomfortable position. If somebody had talked to us first, we could have said this. But nobody did. And I don't appreciate that shit.

Libby seems mostly alright with this. So does Jade, for the most part. So it's fine with me and we can meet and do whatever in a few weeks. But next time, do it better so that Jade doesn't have to feel weird.
