Read very carefully, sweetie. If anything happens, I want you to take your sister and your younger selves and get the hell out of here. I don't care when you go to, but go away. We will find you when the bad blows over. This isn't just because of Sinister, but he's reminded me how dangerous a world can be.

Don't you dare argue, either. I don't care what your father says, I don't care what Julien, Louis, or even I say later. If things get bad, you get out, and don't come back until we retrieve you. Compris?

This isn't something I would do lightly. Do you think I want you guys lost in time? But if I have to choose between your dying now or living some other time, I know damn well what I would want.

God Dammit, this isn't a game! If you're going to claim to be an adult, think for half a second. Anything is worthwhile to minimize casualties, and if we don't stay behind, then you'll never know when it's safe to come back. Beside, if Alex or I are incapacitated, it'll take you too long to find us.

Just promise me you won't waste time trying to save us. If we're there, fine and awesome, we'll just keep peeking forward in time. But if not, leave us, take the kids and Anne, and get out.
