Blushing wasn't something that he'd see that early on in the date, but women tended to look better when they blushed. He smiled at the thought himself. He laughed a little and nodded. He laughed along with her as she laughed about not getting dressed up often. He didn't know what to say at first. His first reactions was that he'd keep it in mind, his second was to tell her she dressed up well and should do it more often. Instead he went with. "I count myself lucky."
Leading Meaghan towards the empty classroom, he opened the door for her. Inside was a table with two candles, the first round of food ready, glasses for wine and two chairs. He walked her over to one of the chairs holding it out for her. This was a date, it was important to do everything the way he would anywhere else.
Once they were both seated he put his napkin on his lap and looked over to her. "What have you been doing to keep yourself busy?"
