"We can hope." He said shaking his head with a small laugh. Yes, they could hope. It was difficult to think about how it would turn out if she did harm someone, what would happen to the bloke she married? What would happen to the silly balance. Speaking of which, what if the person people were stuck with refused but the other was willing, would they both get tossed away. So many questions.
Randy thought it would have been better if they had allowed people to grieve. "They should have set up concealing, or somewhere for people to go and talk about it, try and work through it instead of snapping at people for being outraged or upset. Emotions run higher typical in times of stress." He said nodding. Randy didn't really know how to act when she said she was halfblooded, mostly because it didn't really matter what her blood was to him. He nodded though. "Some still hold onto the arguments of past without looking to the future." He said with a small shrug.
He laughed. "It was a great second career to have, I was also a novelist." He added. "Some didn't make it past the test. I had one that if you tilted up slightly it'd shoot out from under you and shake violently." The memory made him smile. "I mostly just wrote reports about it, occasionally commenting for articles."
