"I suppose people in the future will understand. I mean, like someone brought up before. Having people arranging marriages for you used to be entirely the normal thing to do. And then most of them didn't even know each other, and didn't really get to pick." Especially for a woman. A man could choose, as long as he wasn't above the woman's station. "But I definitely agree that the course of action we've taken is very much.. iffy." She wasn't sure for any other word for it. If the Ministry really wanted to make the best matches, they would look at everyone's DNA, and all of that other muggle stuff. Though she was kind of glad they were allowing people to pick just by what they liked, other than who would make the strongest children together. However though there was obviously good looking guys around, she wasn't sure how attracted she was to most of them.
Right, serious things should be kept for other times. Not a first date. Though how you were supposed to know if you could spend your whole life with someone with a few get-togethers was beyond her. She had known her fiance for years and years before they decided to get married. That was gone though, she knew she needed to move on, and as quickly as possible.
"Suppose you're right. I mean especially with the fact that there will be children coming into the world sooner or later." That probably meant that the need would be even greater eventually. "Well if I could go for both, I would. I suppose it depends on how good I'd be. And if someone's willing to teach." They probably needed good teachers as well as good students. She didn't even know what went into becoming a healer, well except for a lot of training. "I'm happy to help wherever I can." And she honestly meant that, because she'd rather be training to do anything than figuring out who to marry.
