For a few moments there, Oliver could feel the slight awkwardness between them. It wasn't a bad thing, they were just a little fumbly or floundering. He felt like a right git for mis-speaking a few minutes ago. The last thing he wanted to do was make her uncomfortable.
Oliver led the lovely Ravenclaw from the first floor to the fourth, being extra careful when they were on the staircases. The things had a mind of their own really. When they reached the library Oliver let go of her hand as the doorway was narrow and two couldn't fit side by side to enter. He kind of liked holding it though. It was a nice feeling.
"So, my lass, where would you like to start?" He looked over the massive room with it's towering book shelves. He had never really cared for the library all that much when he was here. It was all about going out to the Quidditch pitch to practice. Now, he was going to be spending a lot of time here. "You know," he said as he glanced to a far dark corner of the room. "There's no one here to stop us from going to the restricted section. I've always wanted to see why those books were off limits. What do you say we go and poke our noses in?"
