Oliver arched his eyebrows a bit when she spoke of herself and him possibly doing what they had suggested earlier. Some kind of dating that was friends but was a getting to know people better kind of thing. It was hard to explain. The whole situation was, really.
His brown eyes followed her as she came closer and he looked at her as she moved her hair behind her ear. It was very pretty hair. Oliver had always preferred brunettes. He listened to her carefully and understood what she was saying. It was going to take a lot of work to figure all of this out. It wasn't just a matter of finding a mate and making babies. There was so much more involved.
"Well, I think you're definitely on the right track. Hopefully we've got enough resources to last for a couple of generations, with everything that was left behind in all of the cities and countries, for that matter. We'd have to find a way to preserve things. We're definitely not going to get much done locked up in this school however." Really... what could they do while they were there besides just live and breed. They were adults and they were intelligent, or at least some of them. It'd be better to just get out there and figure this shit out.
