"Aye, Shakespeare. Strange bloke, but he did write a good tale or two. There was a character named Oliver in As You Like It." He nodded. He'd not read Shakespeare in ages. It was mostly Quidditch books and magazines, as well as the occasional science fiction novel that he kept on his bedside table. Perhaps he would start reading more now that he didn't have as much to do.
Oliver listened to Penny explain the dates and what would be of good use. He had forgotten just how long ago this school had been founded. All of those years had passed and wizards and witches married, had children and their children came here, to Hogwarts. Now, all these years later, everything was in danger of coming to an end. The entire world and his entire race as he knew it. He was really starting to understand why it was so, so important they repopulate and rebuild. it would be all for nothing if they just let things end with their generation.
"Penny?"he asked the pretty brunette. "Do you really think we're going to be able to rebuild our race eventually? Do you think you'll ever be able to find someone you'd like having children with? Like being with from the few that remain?"
He rummaged through a few old boxes that were in the cupboard and found an interesting book. "Look here, A Wizard's atlas to old settlements. Might be a good book to start with."
Oliver handed her the book and then continued rummaging through the box.
