We're Back! [04 Jan 2015|06:11pm] underthehill We are officially back after our holiday hiatus and a lot of changes have been made. Lots of new species options have been added to facilitate it being easier for new players to jump into the game and we've firmed up the lore and premise. However, we are still dedicated to promoting a creative, open space and we feel confident that this will be better all around for everyone. Any ideas? Input? Expectations? We're excited for the new beginning and to get back into the swing of things. 0 +

[13 Nov 2014|11:22am] squishy_human I know I'm hogging the ooc atm, sorry. :) Anyway, I was thinking of asking our new prospective writers if either were interested in the role of 'the other woman' who tries to interfere between Alejandre and Fand but then thought it could use some clarification overall. The idea Bailey, Jenn and I (Raven) had was for a younger female who has a crush on Alejandre, resents his growing closeness with Fand and befriends her with the intention of driving a rift between them (again, as they've only just reunited). But this is not a 'ship' situation, wanted to make that clear. We're not, I think the sort of writers who want to put a boy and a girl together and make sweet, sweet love with the minimum of disruption and that what I thought should be clarified. I for one am thinking more of the classic romantic tragedy-type, the mythological Irish/Celtic star-crossed lovers scenario like Fand's own story, misunderstandings, interference, the whole dramatic line-up of, "Stuff that can go wrong!". I hope Jenn agrees with me on this, but I'm flexible, we all are. So even though Bailey has talked about taking the role, I thought to open a conversation about it, as it might suit someone else just as well? Speak to me. :) 19 +

[11 Nov 2014|09:20pm] squishy_human I have finally created the NPC UnSeelie I promised. This is Malachi and you can read of his intentions and his history via the link. NPC's come and go as needed and Malachi will work out of squishyhuman (even tho he's not one) with his own set of icons to set him apart from Alejandre. Same can be true of any NPC you might want to use for plot. They can have a PB face, though Malachi does not and are otherwise run just like any other character. :) 1 +

[10 Nov 2014|02:57pm] thelivingtrees Hello everyone! I've just started working on this girl here with hopes of bringing her into the game within the next few days. Admittedly, after nearly two years without it I'm a bit rusty as far as community based rp is concerned, but I'm looking forward to getting back on the proverbial horse and writing with you all. Having literally just started on her all I know right now is that she's a Sidhe Draoi, aka Dryad, residing within an oak tree. As a guardian of the forest, she and her fellow Dryads rise up whenever it's threatened and take whatever actions are necessary to ensure the protection of the flora and fauna therein. The description and background information is a bit sparse right now, but I'll be working on it more in the coming days. In the meantime, I would love to get to know your characters and maybe do some brainstorming or plotting. 14 +

My CDJ's at him_upstairs, I'm 27, Australian, I have a strange timezone and online schedule, I've been RPing for a ridiculously long time, my character here is none other than Puck / Robin Goodfellow, and this will be the.. third home he's had. I originally played him at a fandom game, roughly a year ago, and after exiting that game he's been homeless for quite a bit. I'm going to be heading to the happiest place on earth in Florida come Tuesdays and that means that I'm not going to be near a computer very much at all except for late at night. so Until the 23 I will be a bit hard to find unless it's while I'm in lines for rides. So that means if you have something to do with Fand I will be slow. But I will have my phone and the ability to tag there. SUMMARY [23 Aug 2014|05:51pm] underthehill The time of the Winter King is over and no-one shall sit upon the Oak throne until the Summer Queen takes her place there. They are the High King and Queen of Underhill and they are elected to rule over Seelie and UnSeelie, fair and justly mediating disputes and awards alike. The Oak throne itself can be found in the middle of a magnificent henge, located between the two courts. Half in sunlight, half in shadow, it is the meeting place for all who are of Fae, for those who seek justice, advancement, power or just pleasure, the court of the Oak throne is a wondrous sight. In the Spring and Fall the Trooping not yet begun, the Princes & Princesses of Light and Dark courts hold a series of events. Wonderful parties, games, soirees and picnics for all to enjoy. It is during this time that those in whom ambition runs rife begin their quest for position and power in the coming Summer court. These Lords and Ladies quest and scheme and plan, using lesser Fae and unsuspecting mortals to carry out their will, those in their service as well as those unaware they are being used, in a political game older than Underhill itself. ~~**~~ This is the summary of how things will stand on opening day. While the world is open and creation is encouraged, it always helps to have context and that is what these paragraphs are intended to be.
