Eva waited patiently for Samir to answer. She was a good listener, if you didn't expect many answers in return. But she never was the type of person to interrupt, or get restless in those silences people sometimes needed to sort out their thoughts. She smiled a bit at the description he gave of his lover, resting her head on her hand. Innocent seemed an odd descriptor. Maybe he was younger. Now Eva had a picture in her head. She wanted to ask if he thought the man was still alive, but that seemed to dangerous of a question. It wasn't a question she wanted anyone to ask her about Sam.
"It is, though. Now," she observed. She was silent for a moment, and then tentatively offered, "Strong, brave... Honorable and loyal. Handsome. Oh, and bratty," she added with a little smirk. Giving all those compliments in a row made her nervous, and her hands were actually shaking a bit - she had to cover it up with a joke. She didn't want him to think she was going sappy on him.
