Whether she was simply too tired or his response just surprised her that much, Eva laughed, the sound bubbling up unexpectedly. That was a funny image. She covered her mouth with one hand trying to compose herself. "Now, that, I would like to see," she claimed, mischievous glint in her eyes. She'd seen their spats at their worst, and she wasn't entirely sure who'd end up with the wedgie if Samir decided to make his threat a reality. Her smile stayed on her lips for a while - it was really amusing.
The brunette seemed to scoff slightly when he gave in. He hadn't given her an order to go home, just made a suggestion. He didn't have to make it seem like he was allowing her to stay now. There was a long pause, but she finally kidded, "I'm glad you can see reason." Her expression was deadpan, though, mostly because her jokes didn't always come across right, and she could pretend to be aloof if it fell flat.
After a moment, she turned and seated herself on the desk in such a way that she could watch the monitor and Samir, and swung her legs, which were too short to touch the ground. After a moment, she reached over to the same drawer and pulled out a lollipop, too. Hey, now she had a craving.
