"Yeah, it shouldn't be a problem. But, if we do a bath and you really need a fusion, I wouldn't be able to do it for a few days. So, better safe than sorry," Eva explained plainly. It was a fact of their lives - no reason to be secretive about it.
The brunette settled back onto the couch when Syd said she could handle filling the tub. At the announcement that the tub was done, Eva nodded to herself and called back, "Ok. Why don't you get undressed?" That would give her time to put away the food she'd grabbed. Done with returning everything to its proper place, she knocked before entering; even when the door was open, she'd knock on the doorjamb. It was only polite going into a room where someone was sitting naked. Or nearly naked.
Anyway, Eva went into the room after knocking, and settled herself cross-legged on the floor, back against the wall. It was the best place in case she did actually pass out. It didn't happen as much now, but it was best to be safe. She had cracked her head pretty good on the toilet one time. Looking over at Syd, she asked, "Are you ready?" and felt a slight blush creep into her cheeks. It happened every time, and at this point, it was just annoying. Sydney was the most beautiful woman Eva had ever seen in person. Honestly, Eva was in awe of how beautiful she was - like a model.
Upon confirmation that she was ready, the hydrokinetic pulled some water out of the tub in a fine mist - so fine, it couldn't be seen, only felt. It was impressive, but that wasn't the difficult part. No. Even though she was already breaking a sweat, and clearly concentrating very forcefully, that was the easy part of this process. It was the next step - forcing it into the pores of Syd's body and into her cells - that was hard. Taking a deep breath, she sent the mist into her friend's body, and the first wave of pain washed over her; the headaches weren't so bad now. She'd been doing it long enough. It also seemed less painful for Syd, which made her happy. Eva didn't like hurting her, even if the process was saving her life.
