Who: Zach & Eva What: Staving off boredom When: Afternoon Where: The Underground, the Bazaar Rating: Low Status: Incomplete
It was a typical day in the Underground for Zachary, which meant that he was bored beyond belief, and nothing immediately stepped up to take care of that. His mother was occupied with her security duties and most of his friends were either too busy with their individual chores or just not in the mood to hang out. For those reasons he was wandering the tunnels of the Underground looking just as bored as he felt, his hands shoved in the pockets of his jacket, his eyes peeled for anything remotely exciting. There was a part of him that was tempted to sneak out for some time out on the town but he only had enough money to purchase rationed food if he wanted it. It wasn't all that fun to wander the city by himself with no spare cash to blow on frivolous garbage.
He wandered through the bazaar until the menagerie of scents overwhelmed his stomach into remembering that he hadn't eaten since early that morning. It was as good a time as any for his rationed meal. He could always try to weasel some money out of his mother but he had no earthly idea where she was patrolling at the time, and he couldn't be assed to try and track her down. There was no Thai dish excellent enough to warrant that much effort, not when he could get something local quick and free. He cut through the crowd of the bazaar and made his way towards the inticing smells that had attracted him in the first place. He bought the first thing that his eyes fell on.
With his carefully portioned amount of food lined out on his tray, he took a seat at the nearest table, neglecting to look to see if it had already been taken. He dug into his meal with gusto, not at all put off by the amount of food. Pacing himself was not one of his stronger points, not when his first priority was food.
