It had been one of those long, annoyingly boring days. Nothing of interest had really happened, and she'd spent most of it staring at various imperfections on walls and the ground. When she was finally let go for the day she'd packed up, went home, dropped everything on her bed, changed and left again. Now she was strolling the city streets, staring at the sky and occasionally remembering to watch where she was going, shifting to the side to evade passing people.
On one of her glances down she caught sight of a sign for an art exhibit, noting the crowd was particularly thick she decided to keep her eyes ahead of her instead of on the towering buildings above. She paused just before the mass of people and set her jaw, sighing. After a second Torque started forward again, "Excuse me." She said, catching the attention of a few people and nodding in thanks when they moved aside and let her pass. Great, perhaps she should have just crossed the street and bypassed this whole mess in the first place. To late now, she thought, continuing her way through.
