Wyatt snorted, shook his head. “I ain’t the ‘kids type’, man.” Couldn’t keep himself together some days, let alone another person. He didn’t know how Deb did it, had watched her raise Lily since Lily was a tiny, pinched, pink thing. “Not really the kind to settle down neither," he admitted easily enough. Not s secret or something he was ashamed about, even if he saw newlyweds just about every other day. Even if he was damn sure that there might be one person could get him to straighten up a little.
None of that was meant for a heart-to-heart with a stranger.
He laughed at the comments, shrugged off the way the air around them was starting to cool with the sunset. "I ain't ready for an apocalypse to happen, he threw back with a quirk to his lips. He nods along with the observation, quiet for a couple more moments before he answers.
"Pretty obvious, huh?" He tapped his fingers against the metal of the railing. "Can't avoid everyone you work with, no matter how much they grind on you." Then there were some he could do with seeing more of. He glanced around, like there might be someone in earshot that could get him in trouble; not for real, he’d say whatever he wanted, but hell, it was fun to joke. “Don’t pass that on, though. Got enough write ups in my employee file more than likely.”
Since it seemed like they were going to stand for a while longer, Wyatt dug for another cigarette and lit up. Puffed a stream of smoke out before he looked at Nate again. "Might actually help of you wrote about my glowing hospitality, you know, balance out the rest of it."
