“You said it, not me. I don’t know what you get up to on these tours when I’m not around.” But she quieted down as he continued the tour. The purpose of this visit wasn’t actually to get him in trouble, so at least the passengers wouldn’t be able to complain too much about the lack of information given on the boat ride. It had to be dull work, saying the same information every time, too.
“I don’t know what it says about me or you that you’re assuming I’d do something that might get me banned from any future tours. Besides, I haven’t noticed any lesbos in the current crowd.” She glanced at the woman beside her and raised a shoulder. “No offense if you are.”
She did well with hiding a grin when the woman huffed in annoyance and turned to whisper to the woman on her other side.
To be fair, he was doing an adequate job of, well, doing his job while Kendall was being purposefully distracting. “Oh don’t worry, I will. You just gave me permission to find any and every tape you’re on doing something ridiculous. That should keep me busy for a while.”
Kendall followed the collective gaze of the tour when attention was brought to the reptile floating in the river. She got up and invited herself to the front of the boat for a better look. “He doesn’t look very big. I don’t believe he almost chewed somebody’s arm off.” Crossing her arms, she gave Wyatt a doubting look.
“Where’s that giant boulder that looks like a duck? Now that’s entertaining.”
