Wyatt could really honestly say that was the first time that he’d been called a slut, but it earned Kendall a little half-quirked grin and a shrug. It didn’t hurt that Kendall seemed to be on board with helping him get better tips and not sabotaging his afternoon. Although the tour was still young. “What can I say, gotta work with what I got.” He winked at Kendall because he knew that it would likely -hopefully- incite more interest in the women around them. It probably also meant that they’d start doing more desperate things for attention, but hey, if it meant great tips he’d suffer through it.
“You make it sound like this is some x-rated boat ride I got goin’ here.” He wasn’t quite at the point of rising to her challenge, and only raised his brows at her threat. Wrapping his knuckles on the top of the steering wheel, he broke their stream of conversation to point out a few more things to the ladies, making sure to make it sound as exciting as possible. When he gave his attention back to Kendall it was with a slow, easy smile. “Dunno if this boat is ready for that kind of thing, sweetheart. But you’re welcome to try, see if maybe you’re more the speed of a few of these ladies in the audience.” It wasn’t really backing her into a corner, she had the freedom to say no.
If she didn’t stop that she’d get more of the ladies thinking that Wyatt was going to wrestle some animal for them, just for the thrill. “I got a specific time for questions,” he responded, working hard at keeping his professionalism intact for the sake of the tour as a whole. “Think we got something like that on tape back at the resort. Talk to the concierge, he could probably find it for you.”
His attention was drawn back away from Kendall as he started the boat moving again. A few more ladies asked questions that were no doubt instigated by Kendall and hers. It wasn’t a good sign that he’d make it through this tour without some of the dumbest things asked.
“Now I’m real sorry everyone that you won’t see a gator wrestling today, but if you look real close over there you just might kept a glimpse of the beast,” Wyatt told the crowd and pointed out towards and inlet on the shore. “Might be a good thing not to swim on this side of the resort either.”
