"Well I've only met you and your dad so far, but I believe that." Stubborn as hell, that was closer to the impression that she got from the pair.
Opening her own bottle she took a long drink, watching the girl move around in her seat. Logan didn't feel like she had a hero complex, but that struck as something that might require more explanation then she was sure she had in her. "Depends on the day and how annoying she's being," her tone was affectionate though. "She's nicer then I am, so I gotta keep an eye out for her." Same with Carly though. "But I like having her around, she's good company."
"Yeah, me too," said quietly. "I don't think him or Kaplan would have liked being away from you and Kaplan's kid either." Logan had wanted to get back to her family, but it wasn't the same drive as the guys' desire to see their kids again.
"Too long." Yeah, Logan might have years on her, but that didn't make her any better with the waiting. "They can't keep us here forever though, we'll figure out how to leave somehow if they try." That she was sure of. She refused to be trapped on this zombie suck hole forever, she didn't want her sister or cousin living through it any longer then they had too. Didn't really want Louisa or the other kids too either. Logan nodded, "Alright." She didn't really want to build the girls hope up either.
Now that made Logan snort. "Oh? Somebody's pretty sure of herself." And yet, she didn't actually doubt it was true. "Might do it now, just to see how creative you can get about it." Clearly she was the mature adult in this conversation. "Don't really care about the hotel, you can raise as much hell as you want around there. Most of the people hanging out there all the time could use it." Not that she was bitter toward the people who liked to hide where it was safe. "Carly'd probably be pissed at me though, so I guess you're not banned." Pointing a finger at her, "Yet."
Nodding toward the screens again, "You can help watch if you plan to hang out though."
