"Cohan's aren't pushovers," Louisa answered confidently. "Least that's that dad and his brothers are always saying."
Louis kicked her feet back and forth, swinging her legs from the chair as she listened to Logan. "I think having a hero complex is like a requirement," she commented with a laugh. "They do, yeah." Louisa agreed. "What's it like having a sister?" The eleven year old blurted out. It was more than obvious that she kind of long to not be an only child.
"Well, I'm glad you guys came back when you did." Louisa remarked in a serious tone. "Because I wouldn't have wanted to wait nine months to have my dad back." They might fight and drive each other insane. But he was still her father and she didn't want to be without him.
Waiting sucked. Louisa was not good at waiting. Plus growing up in this island wasn't an appealing idea at all. "How long do you think we'll have to wait?" Even though she wasn't even sure if they would ever find her aunts and uncles again, it was nice having someone else looking out for them as well. "Yeah, I have some pictures on my phone. I'll bring it out here sometime to show you." Louisa was stubbornly telling herself not to get her hopes up. But it was hard not to, she was only a child after all.
"No you won't," Louisa countered with a smirk. "Banning me will only make me find ways to get out here and bug you more." The girl had a rebellious streak a mile long. "And you wouldn't do that either, because then I'll just raise hell in the resort and greenhouse."
