Who: Orla Quirke & Andrew Kirke
What: Fun
Where: An amusement park
When: Evening
Rating: PG-13 at least since I am sure there is swearing of some sort
Status: Incomplete

Orla had made plans with Andrew to go to the Amusement Park today, it was better than just sitting on her ass on her night off. Well actually it wasn't her night off she had called in sick to go to the amusement park with Andrew. She had not spent a great deal of time getting ready but she had actually put some thought into it. Orla couldn't help it she was a fan and she was admittedly a little giddy but she would never admit that to Andrew that she was so giddy to hang out with him. Nope Orla would not stroke his ego in such a fashion, she would definitely prefer to show her boobs than admit that.

Orla was sitting on the bench outside the amusement park waiting for Andrew. He better show up soon otherwise she would just go out to a club and find a wonderful girl preferably that she could tell Andrew he missed out on something awesome. Hell she would even settle for a bloke, but she wasn't out to make Andrew jealous she just needed a back up plan. She was tapping her feet on the ground in a rhythmic way before adding a bit of an odd beat behind it from making noise. She was tapping her fingers on her denim covered legs bouncing in her seat a bit. He better show up soon.

Andrew was late, as far as he knew. He couldn’t help it, he had loads of things to do; like sitting around his apartment, the one he shared with Jack, and just staring up at the ceiling for a few hours, tracing patterns with his index finger and humming the tunes of his own songs under his breath. Yeah, his life was pretty interesting. It actually hadn’t been his intention to leave his bachelor pad this late, but he’d lost his watch somewhere just a few weeks previous and he’d forgotten to look on the clock that was in the middle of his living room because, well, he didn’t have an excuse for that – he just hadn’t checked. But now he was on his way after putting on his jacket and telling Jack he was going out. To an amusement park. At night, no less. Probably not the best idea he ever had, but he didn’t really care.

Hands stuffed into his pockets, he whistled a merry tune as he walked through the not so crowded streets, looking for the girl he had planned to meet up with. Orla Quirke, her name was hilarious, and while he wasn’t going to tell that it did make him grin from ear to ear. Upon seeing her, he slowed down his pace and smiled. “Oi, Orla,” he greeted, checking his surroundings before looking back at her. “Sorry I’m late,” He could say he got stuck in traffic but seeing as he didn’t bring a vehicle, she probably wouldn’t buy that. “How’re you doing?” this was merely said to be polite, his accent evident through his words. He rubbed his hands together and then motioned to go. “You ready? I want to ride the coaster first!"

Oi, Orla caught her attention as it should and she looked up to see Andrew coming towards her. A smirk on her face as he apologized for being late and she just shrugged her shoulders it was really no big deal. "No big deal," Orla saw no reason to freak out it because he was entitled to be late not to mention the fact she was no crazy girlfriend freaking out over a few minutes. Orla stood up and dusted of her bottom as was habit when sitting anywhere, especially outside. "Oh I am doing swell, and how 'bout your self?" Orla asked curiously with a raised eyebrow as she her teeth played with her lip ring a bit before heading in the direction of the park. "Of course what else would we go on first? Screw the dinky rides."

Despite the slow start the evening seemed to be a promising evening for some good old fashion clean fun. Honestly Orla was a little skeptical of her skill at remaining clean around someone she had always swore she would jump given half the chance to her friends. Orla was one to say things just for shock value and still to this day she could shock most of her friends, which was rather pleasing. She headed towards the line for the rollercoaster prepping for a long line despite the evening hours. "Are you a raise your hands in the air type of person?" She was quite serious about this question because it was fun to raise your hands in the air and scream.

“Great!” He was happy that she wasn’t going to scowl at him for being late, as it was just him being himself. He even came late to one of his own concerts, so it was kind of like a habit. And speaking about his concerts, he hoped that he wouldn’t come across some fans while he was here. That’s why being out at night made it easier, because you usually couldn’t see a person’s face clear enough. Especially not when he was wearing his hoodie and had his hood over his head. It wasn’t polite to do so in company, but Orla would understand that he didn’t want any fans to molest him while he got on the rides. They could do that afterwards.

As they walked towards the rollercoaster he grinned, the line wasn’t that long but the screams could still be heard miles away. Yes, this was going to be fun. “Yeah, I never keep them down,” he answered her with an excited nod, watching the ride as it happened before his eyes. He turned towards her then, grin on his face. “And you? You’re not that kind of girl that shuts her eyes and then screams in terror, are you?” He certainly hoped not, because he wanted to go on everything and didn’t want to be held back. But seeing as Orla promised to flash her boobs at him at the next concert she was at, he wasn’t really worrying about that.

Orla looked at him with his hood up but she figured she knew the reason and she would just pull it down when we were on the rides. Orla wanted to see that hair, that was one of the reason she thought he was so hot was because of his hair. She wouldn't go about screaming that around. "I will protect you from your fans until we get on the ride, no screaming Andrew Kirke is here." Orla nodded her head as she brushed hair played with her lip ring again. "No promises for afterwards, plus you might like it." She winked at him as they got in line and started moving forward, it wouldn't be long before they were on the ride themselves.

"Good, I don't like those types that just sit there." Orla was loud so it was no surprise that quiet company didn't exactly gel with her. Turning to look at Andrew she looked a tad offended, "Of course I am not one of those girls that shuts her eyes and screams in terror. I would be more inclined to flash the park than scream in terror." Orla smirked as she looked back over to Andrew. "So are we doing all the rides?" She hoped the answer was yes because it would mean they were in for a fun night.

He laughed shortly as she told him she’d protect him from his fans, imagining the scene. She would probably get run over. “That’s good, I don’t want to spend my time writing out autographs when I’m out with you. It wouldn’t be fun for either of us, I bet.” Andrew shuffled his feet a little as the line moved forward, getting impatient by now. He wasn’t used to waiting so long. “You seem to like flashing a lot,” he grinned teasingly at her, only half joking. If she’d flash her chest at his concert while crowded by other fans, then obviously she wouldn’t mind flashing someone in a rollercoaster. That would actually be kind of amusing, if he wanted to be honest.

He liked those kind of girls, the ones that weren’t afraid to show what they’ve got, but at the same time if he were to be dating her, he probably wouldn’t like her flashing anyone, anywhere. It was a good thing he wasn’t then, but if he were, he would like to think she would keep her top down. But why was he thinking about this? He was going to have fun fun fun laughing his head off in this rollercoaster. “Of course we’re doing all the rides!” he looked at her as though she was silly for even thinking they weren’t. After paying for the both of them, he gestured towards Orla to go before him and into the ride, “Ladies first!”

"Aww thank you," she said with a lightly amused tone. "Though really watching girls drool of you doesn't sound so appealing." Orla chuckled a little as she looked at him. She moved her feet forward wishing the line would just disappear. "Could you imagine how awesome this would be if the park was empty except for us, no lines." She rubbed her chin as if thinking hard about it until he mentioned her liking to flash a lot which caused her to laugh. "I have no issues doing it but I don't do it all the time."

Orla was pleased to hear they were going on all the rides, what was an amusement park visit without testing out each ride at least once and going back to your favourites. Orla knew she was in for a long night but when it was with Andrew who really cared, she knew she would have fun. "Oh thank you," she curtsied as she walked onto the ride and sat down in the seat. "This is going to be awesome!" Orla grinned as she drummed her fingers on the car hoping people would hurry up and get ready.

“Drool doesn’t sound appealing to anyone, I bet,” certainly not to him, at least. Squealing fan girls, yes, but drooling fan girls not as much. He got into the carriage after she did, making sure they were seated safely. “No lines would be awesome. We could ride anything we want whenever we wanted!” Maybe he could use his somewhat fame to buy the park out. But that would probably leave him flat broke. The rest of the cars got filled and the ride slowly began moving when Andrew nudged his elbow into Orla’s side, “We should get some cotton candy after this!” No matter the time, it was never too late for some sugar.

“Aaaah!” his shout echoed as the carriage slowly but surely crawled towards the top, holding his arms above his head even though they weren’t spiraling down yet. “We’re going to die!” This was a game he played with Jack, screaming and shouting their heads off before the ride even started. It was a pity the Sloper wasn’t here now, but he’d tell Jack all about it later. Finally, after what seemed like hours to him, they reached the top – only to plummet down with an incredible speed.

"It sounds disgusting," Orla confirmed her opinion on the matter as they got ready for the ride to start. Orla was excited she loved rides and she figured it would be amusing with someone like Andrew. She moved in her seat to get comfortable. "Totally, cotton candy is an amusement park must." Orla grinned as she felt the car start to move. She heard Andrew scream and looked over at him. "We are totally going to die!" She yelled back but as they got to the top and started to head downwards an a speed she put her hands up and just screamed but not in a terrified manner.

Rollercoasters, the best things ever. She felt the turns come cause her body to shift due to the momentum. She doubted she could ever squish Andrew even if she did slide over and hit him she was too small to do any sort of damage.

The loud noises and excited screams were like music to his ears, and he joined the crowd by shouting out his own excitement while waving his arms around like a bumbling idiot. When the quick turns and the loopings came his shouts became a little bit louder, but when the end came into sight this quickly turned into disappointed complains. “Damn,” he expressed his discontentment, “That went by too quick!” but then he considerably brightened up, getting out of the carriage while helping Orla get out of her own seat. “But that was amazing, yeah? Onto the cotton candy!”

He held onto her hand as he dragged her with him to the nearest cotton candy stand, “I want red, and blue, and green!” he told the man that stood behind it, before turning back towards his company. “What would you like?”

Orla was enjoying the ride and with company like Andrew how could you not be amused. He was flailing around like some bumbling idiot. She laughed a little but her own noises turned to a disappointed groan. The ride was over and much to soon for her tastes. She groaned as the ride stopped disappointed it was over when his hand was helping her out of the car and dragging her off to get cotton candy. "That was amazing!" She grinned as they headed off to get cotton candy, he was still dragging her by her hand but she didn't care.

"I want green please," she said not wanting to get as much as Andrew was going to get. She was not going to be surprised if the boy was bouncing off the walls later. "What ride next, once the cotton candy is done."

“Just green?” he shook his head at her, tutting her choice. “You should take three, too!” There had been a time where he had taken an entire rainbow of colors. He hadn’t eaten half because he’d been too sick, so that was the last time he had done that. The man behind the stand gave the both of them their cotton candies, and Andrew bit off a chunk without much thought.

He tried to speak, but seeing as his mouth was still full with the sugary good, couldn’t pronounce one word right. After raising a finger in an attempt to tell her to wait for an answer while he chewed, he swallowed the good and then tried to speak. “I dunno,” his gaze searched around the amusement park before shrugging his shoulders. “Where do you want to go?”

"Yes, just green." Orla didn't want to get sick and she was sure that she would be in awe of Andrew if he didn't with the load he had. She also didn't feel like puking on the guy and if she ate any more and got on some twisty rides then she was sure to puke and how terrible it would be if it was on Andrew. She took a bit off the fluffy ball and stuck it in to her mouth as he tried to speak, somewhat amused waiting for his answer.

"Well we have done the Roller coaster, but there has to be other sorts of rides. Perhaps another type of Roller coaster?" Orla was curious as she had not been to the amusement park in a while. "There are also those twisty spinny rides." Orla shrugged her shoulders. When she was done she popped a bit more cotton candy into her mouth.

His mouth and hands were going to be all sticky now, but he didn’t really care. The stuff was good, the sugar was going to his brain and he was going to have a lot of energy tonight to bother Jack. That was always a good thing. “Another rollercoaster sounds good,” he wanted to try them all, but wasn’t sure how many there were. He hadn’t been in this amusement park since he graduated from Hogwarts. “And maybe the haunted house!”

He grinned at her, “Twisty spinny rides?” he liked that description, it was better than what he used to call it. He never knew what their official name was, so he usually pointed them out and went ‘that thing over there’. “I think we should wait for a bit after our cotton candy, you don’t want me to throw up all over you, right?” That was probably worse than the fan girl drooling.

Orla started playing with her fingers sticking her index finger to her thumb and letting the pull apart. She took a bit of her cotton candy and grinned at him nodded her head, rollercoasters always sound good to her. As he mentioned the Haunted house she nodded her head sort of enthused by the idea. "How about we do the haunted house first, that way we can eat the cotton candy as we go?" Orla thought it was a good idea but it depended if Andrew thought it was too.

"Ew, yes waiting a good idea. I don't want you puking on me cause that would be gross and I would never forgive you." Orla did not want to be puked on, she liked this shirt and would like to keep it puke free. "Twisty spinny rides will just have to wait until the cotton has settled." Orla grinned at Andrew and then grabbed his hand heading in the direction of the Haunted house.

“That sounds like a right plan to me!” He turned to look at the already darkened sky, thinking how the haunted house would now probably be even better because it was dark outside as well. Usually when it was light outside it wasn’t as spooky as it could be. Still having his half-eaten cotton candy in hand, he took another bite from the stick as he followed her towards where the haunted house stood. Once they arrived, however, he noticed there was yet again a line standing in front of it.

“I thought it would have been less people at night,” Andrew mused as the line slowly shuffled further. He guessed everyone else had the same idea as him, hence why there were so many people there now. At least it wasn’t raining, even though the weather guy had said it would, that was a pro. “I hope they put up some new stuff,” he told Orla, already excited to go in as he took some more cotton candy.

"Awesome!" Orla was excited for the haunted house so with her cotton candy in hand she headed on over to the Haunted house. She was disappointed to see that there was yet another line. She wanted to go see the Haunted House right away with no wait. She pouted a bit as they got in line and started to shuffle forwards as she ate cotton candy to console her disappointment.

"I thought so too, but now." She sighed as she continued to eat the cotton candy and turned to Andrew. "Yes, I hope so two. I hope it is actually scary." Orla was almost done her cotton candy and sort of wished she had gotten at least another colour.

“I bet they’ll start moving real quick,” Andrew told the girl next to him with a nod, hoping they would himself. In the mean time, he was racking through his brain as to what to talk to Orla about. He didn’t know the girl all too well, but she was friendly and fun so he supposed he could come up with something to talk to her about. “So,” he started, waiting a bit before continuing, “How’re you doing?” Yes, you’re so smart, Andrew, for thinking up that question.

Noticing she was almost out of her own cotton candy, Andrew chewed slowly on his, even though there was almost nothing to chew because it was all sugar. Then, an idea hit him. “Want to share mine? I think I bought a little too much.” That was an understatement.

Orla bounced on the spot whenever they stopped walking in the line, she felt like she was being some impatient child or something. Things she felt had taken an awkward turn with the conversation since they didn't exactly know each other too well. When Andrew asked her how she was doing she laughed. "Uh I am well," she chuckled through her words. "How are you?" Orla felt it was just polite to repeat a question such as that back.

With the offer of cotton candy her eyes light up. "Yeah sure, thanks." She said taking some from him. "I guess I should have gotten more, but then who would be here to help you with yours?"
