"Yeah, I did." She hadn't known Murphy for long, but she'd already known him long enough to get a really good sense of when she could bitch at him and when he'd bitch back, and when he needed someone to actually show some kind of genuine care and concern.
He didn't get a whole lot of genuine concern from people.
