It took a lot for her not to start pacing. Thinking that maybe being out here was a bad idea. Though, she wasn't about ready to head back to the apartments just yet. Back to a familiarity that would suit her, for now. This was all a lot to take in and she wasn't sure she wanted to anymore.
Hearing his footsteps, she turns towards him and stops kind of short. She could see his weariness. Saw it in his stance and the way that he looked. Like he was staring at a ghost. In a way? He was. Just not one that was all see through and floating like casper. No, she was flesh and blood.

It takes a lot for her not to run to him. After all, she didn't want to startle him.
