Inari wanted to go home. She wanted to go back to LA, back to Bobby. She didn't understand how she had been kidnapped by a town, because really that's what it seemed like. She was trapped in Roswell. She couldn't leave, couldn't contact Bobby in LA, or even her family in Chicago. Not that she wanted to contact them, but if anyone could get her out of this place it would be Lara. Or Thomas and Harry. But her phone calls met with silence and her attempts to email bounced back undeliverable.
So she resigned herself to being stuck here, and while she would never just accept that, she was trying to build a life. That meant meeting people, and making connections. If she knew anything, she knew connections with other people were important. You never know when knowing someone specific might come in handy.
She was starting with Lucas. He seemed like a nice guy. He kind of in a weird way reminded her of Harry. She didn't want tot hink too much about that. Harry was kind of a sore spot with her. But whatever. She was legit trying to make a connection with Lucas. She saw him approaching and raised a hand to wave. They were meeting for lunch, she already had a table for them. She had a glass of iced tea, all that was missing was him.
