He sucked on his finger while she went over her lessons. They were sound. Made sense. "Maybe I should just move in here with you." He was half joking, but if she took him seriously and made an actual offer, he'd do it. Because living alone sucked.
He'd spent enough time alone in that god damn bunker. He didn't consider himself a people person, he hated most people simply because they existed, but the isolation had damn near driven him crazy. It had driven him to the point of taking the easy way out. He just hadn't actually pulled the trigger. Yet.
And if Bellamy and Clarke could be believed, he didn't go through with it. And he got out of the bunker. So there was that, at least. The one good thing that came from the two of them invading Murphy's peace in Roswell was that he knew he didn't die alone in that god forsaken bunker.
"Besides, I might not mind it if you bite me. Who knows, I might even like it." Murphy didn't like pain. But he had used it to distract himself in the past. It was something very real to focus on, leaving all the other thoughts behind.
