Mostly because she didn't have a reason to. Because there wasn't any point to it otherwise right now. She didn't know the two of them and contrary to what everybody from back home thought of the kids in her District, they didn't actually liked killing for the hell of it. She just enjoyed the fact that she was good at it. That she had the skills to do it well.
Nobody ever said she was normal. At least not without lying blatantly.
She waved him towards the couch. "Go on, sit," she said, dropping the knife onto the coffee table.
