That was... the kind of greeting he usually expected Ramsey to get somewhere, or possibly Fenway. Lucas was the cheerful, high-strung, neurotic one of the team. He was the one people liked almost right away, so this? This was... something almost entirely different. No, this was something actually entirely different.
"I have no idea what I did to you, man, but I'm reasonably sure I was completely oblivious to it." He wasn't an idiot, but he was focused and driven, and sometimes he just missed things. He tended to have his head stuck in his work more often than not, and that'd only multiplied exponentially since getting drafted for the Threshold project. (His wife hadn't enjoyed that.)
