He had been feeling a bit out of sorts since coming here, to say the least. Everything about who Peter Parker was involved being Spiderman. Most of it, anyway. And Tony Stark had always been a huge influence in his life. But then to come here and have them all be different, well, Peter sighed a little at that. At least, until he had spoken to Five about things and understood that maybe this was a chance to get to meet them all over again. A unique opportunity. He was going to take it, after all. And now armed with the task of setting up technology for the new apartment complex, Peter had a purpose here, something he had been lacking for some time.
He decided a trip to the store was probably a useful thing. He made his way to a random convenience store, browsing through the shelves until he found a few pieces of technology that looked promising. Odds and ends, really, but the whole time Peter kept thinking what would Tony Stark do. He had this second chance because of him, after all.
As he made his way to that section, Peter passed by a woman gathering lots of nail polish and chocolate. He blinked, then decided to be friendly because wasn’t that who he was? “Oh, hey there. Don’t mind me, really, but wow, that’s a lot of nail polish. And red is a pretty cool color, too. Are you a nail…artist? Painter? Help me out here because I really don’t know the right word for that.” He rambled a little, always slightly awkward when it came to talking to girls.
